Unless strong violence deters you as well, for high octane, long shot minimal cuts martial arts films, The Raid: Redemption and Raid 2 blew my mind with their choreography. Beautiful and brutal ballet of skills.

Ha! This is crazy. I love martial arts movies and Ip Man. I suggest watching Master Z Ip Man Legacy if you haven’t yet. What other martial arts movies have you seen that you’ve hated?

I love martial arts, but I don't like superhero films which all contain fighting scenes these days.

I did enjoy that Thor movie with the Matt Damon cameo

This is a bit of a weird take because Ip Man is a pretty standard outing for a Hong Kong, period martial arts movie. I suspect you might like martial arts movies more than you think as long as it's a period piece. You should try anything featuring "Wong Fei-Hung" as a character.
