I've started vinland saga's anime, is it worth it or is the manga way better?

Manga is better imo, as the anime skips a lot of important characterization and uses some pretty rough cgi for climactic moments. Also, the first like 13 volumes have some of the best and most consistent art of any manga imo.

But definitely still do watch the anime, it's one of my favorite

Monster by Naoki Urasawa. It’s a psychological crime thriller set in late 20th century Germany. The story follows a surgeon who, years after saving the lives of a young boy and his sister, discovers that the boy was a murderer who has been continuing to kill. It’s really heavy and covers some of the political fallout of world war 2 and the cold war as it follows a really emotional character journey. Highly recommended for its serious tone, lack of juvenile tropes, and precise execution
