You can criticize an actor as a person and still praise their performance.

It would be silly not to think that Woody Allen, Roman Polanski and Luc Besson are, or at least were incredibly great filmmakers, all that whilst not excluding the fact that they're rapist and molesters.

They are not mutually exclusive.

How can you say this lol. He won the Oscar for it, but just look at his IMDb page after. It's quite clear the sexual harassment suits tanked his career post-Manchester.

I think it’s fair to say the allegations tanked his career, based on a quick look at his credits from the last 5 years. A movie like Manchester, which won him the Oscar, would normally launch an actor’s career into the stratosphere. He’s still working on indie projects but the allegations seem to have halted the upward trajectory he had in 2016.

Nobody claimed sexual abuse from Casey Affleck. Don’t normalize making shit up.

Harassment is a far cry from sexual abuse. Is the same difference between calling a person a name and punching them.

Also, other cast and crew members defend him. So, the jury is out, and likely will always be.

Gorka claimed she was subjected to a "near daily barrage of sexual comments, innuendo and unwelcome advances" by crew members, encouraged by Affleck.
