Ah I see. I assumed he mentioned Parasite because it was the last best picture to be equally as hyped but who knows.

It’s totally possible that’s what the op intended, but there is zero context in the original message for me to make that connection. The last two prior Best Picture winners were Coda (2022) and Nomadland (2021).

Singling out the asian films instead of saying CODA and Nomadland or Green Book seems pretty targeted. Not saying it is racist but it seems like it. Also only listed white films that they would replace it with.
