Inspired by Jake Gyllenhaal filming some fight scenes at the UFC event last night in front of a live audience for the upcoming Roadhouse movie, what other famous scenes were shot like that? Where they hijacked or guerilla shot at an event to capture the atmosphere or just get thousands of free extras.
I know Song to Song shot some scenes at various music festivals. Peter Jackson went to a stadium and got the audience to do some chanting for the LOTR-movies.
