My 11 yo son has reached the age where he can sit through movies that aren’t only targeted at young kids. We’ve watched a lot of movies I grew up liking when I was around his age. Movies like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, The Goonies, The Matrix. For the most part he enjoys them but some not so much.
We were watching Hook the other night and I jumped on RT to look at the cast and I was shocked to see a rating of 29% from critics. We were watching Halloween movies and I noticed Hocus Pocus received a 38%
Question: What are some movies you enjoyed that you later found out were poorly received?
Obviously reviews don’t really matter and RT offers audience reviews which I find to usually be a bit more in line with my option (not always). I just thought it made for an interesting discussion. Thanks
