I went to see Amsterdam 2 days ago. Sure, it has some clear weakness like overexplaining a lot of things, confusing early and dragged end of movie, I also felt like there were way too many filler scenes which achieved nothing, but I still enjoyed that movie. Solid 6/10.

Wife and I saw it last weekend, and I was also surprised at the negative reviews. It had issues, but the reviews made it seem like it was some unwatchable piece of garbage.

That's the word of mouth I'm hearing from people who've seen it. It's not a great movie, but a lot of the hate is overblown. I'm hearing it's more average to good, then "awful".
