In The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020), Phoebe (Jenna Ortega) says Terminator 2 is one of four sequels that supersede the original. What are the other three?

Near the beginning of the movie, Cole is running from the teens and talking with Phoebe about the events of the first movie. Terminator 2 is referenced and Phoebe says, “It’s one of the four sequels in history that supersedes the original.”

Any thought on what the other three movies are? I would guess Godfather II is one of them.

Based on the examples, everyone seems to be referencing the second movie in a series or trilogy. A sequel is anything that continues the story of the preceeding release.

This is my long way of saying that Fury Road is better than every other Mad Max movie. Road Warrior doesn't even come close.

Terminator 2 and Aliens are different enough from the originals that it seems pointless to compare the two. If you wanted another horror movie, Aliens is horrible. If you wanted Action, obviously Aliens is a million times better than Alien.

People also love to list Godfather but I don’t get it. The stuff with Robert Deniro In Godfather 2 is awesome, but I hate Michael’s whole story, and Michael’s story is most of the movie. Watching him slowly transform from the guy who didn’t want to be his dad to being a “better” version of his dad is cool, watching him just be a mobster for a while is boring.
