Wow watched this yesterday. Far too little Cushing and Lee (should be the whole movie instead of Mods drinking hot chocolate.) The Alucard scene is hilarious though. London in the early 70s did seem swingin, I will say. If anything could do for a remake it's this. One of the great titles for a movie of all time.

Lee was had little screentime most of the Dracula films, he hated the role and refused to read any of the written dialogue.

He had such great presence always. Maybe he was just looking for the right script that rarely came. For some reason it's hard to do Dracula well.

It's funny, Lee's actual portrayal was fantastic but as a character, Hammer Dracula was pretty weak and inept. He kept getting killed in the lamest and most undignified ways.

He said the dialogue was ridiculous and he wasn't about to stoop to reading whatever drivel they came up with (keep in mind they also basically strong-armed him into coming back to the role - "think of the people you'll put out of work if you don't do it!")

For some reason this flick is called Dracula jagt Mini-Mädchen in German, which translates to Dracula Chases Tiny Girls. No idea why. I saw the film and it's fairly entertaining.

Is this that movie that Geoff from the F***face podcast was trying to find?

It was either this one, or it's the one that he mistook for the one he was trying to find.

Was anyone else struck by how much Stephanie Beacham in this looked like Jennifer Lawrence?

I do kinda love the hammer films, even the best are uneven but still love them

There's a version of Alligator Man, near the beginning of this film, that absolutely destroys.

Can we please let this movie be forgotten? It was the worst of the Hammer films, and tarnished Dracula's legacy hahaha.

It's not even the worst Hammer Dracula film. That would be the next one.
