I definitely enjoyed it but it also made me want to rewatch Smokin' Aces, which in my mind will always be the best "what if all the assassins tried to kill each other" movie ever.

I thought smokin aces took itself too seriously. Bulket Train waa goofy from start to finish and reveled in how goofy it was.

I think Smokin' Aces was both serious when it absolutely needed to be and silly at the same time. A lot of people want their movies to be majority one and small heaping of the other and can't handle tone switches well.

Me, I loved how out there that movie got but man it gets genuine weight in some parts. I feel like that weight counters the insanity in a good way.

Smokin' Aces and Bullet Train is like that, tho' I think BT is a bit on the lighter side.

Yeah, you’re right — the scene with Piven completely losing his shit was pretty raw.
