Everything you're saying is exactly what I expected. Brad Pitt is always good, so I anticipated good. Large side cast of good actors is usually good, so that tracks. Random summer release action movie is fun. That's what I assumed. I think the reason it's box office wasn't great was because, at the end of the summer, we're all done with dumb fun action.
