Personally the only Shyamalan film I really like is “Signs.” I was so excited when he first came on the scene with Sixth Sense. I gave up after about five films.

Signs had a silly premise.Did those Aliens crash on a world that is 70% water and hide out in a cornfield that gets wet with dew?

I watched the film as a discussion about Faith. Everyone focused on the “aliens and water issue.” I found the acting excellent and thought the “signs” were clever. I enjoyed it most of all of his films. I did enjoy Sixth Sense, but watched it twice and do not care to see it again. I enjoy ONE of all of his films. So sue me. 🤦🏻♀️

Fair enough, everyone gets something different out of a movie.I just couldn't get Mel as the Priest, after Lethal Weapon and Mad Max.

OK. Lol. I was pleasantly surprised by him. And Joaquin Phoenix was super. Loved the young kids as well. There was a lot of humor in there. Forgot the line … “Everybody just calm down and have some fruit or something!” 😎 The kids wearing Tin Foil hats. Phoenix confronting Gibson about Faith. “Merrill, swing away.”
