Alan said there was a script for a sequel, but it was terrible and they most likely won't move forward with it.

As with most horror comedies, I believe it works better as a stand alone film anyways. You can't recapture that magic (Evil Dead being an exception).

You could always go the way of the Cornetto trilogy, and have sequels that aren't really sequels.
