the new show was ok but I'm really not a fan of that nonlinear story telling they did with it.. the show starts in the middle the middle is the beginning and then it goes back to the beginning and then to the end.. .. The Witcher Season 1 did the same thing and for most of the episodes I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on because it was never explained that some of the episodes were taking place 15 years in the past...I really don't like that they should have just kept it simple beginning to end.. they did make the ending of The Stand like it could continue to a new story so that could be interesting I guess..

I totally agree that the ENTIRE CONCEIT of a plague unraveling in a story plot is to see how it slowly chews up all the good and bad in the world and this unlinear telling was a bad choice for this script. No argument here !

You need really deft and assured storytelling for jumping around like that to really work.

It’s super crazy that It is released linear when the book was non linear and then The Stand non linear when the book is linear. You’re just changing things to change things!

Season 2 of the Witcher didn't do that stupid nonsense and it was much better..
