That guy was a force in the late 90s and early 2000s. He was in Chopper (awesome), had his own comedy show, was the best part of Black Hawk Down in my opinion. Then he made Munich, which had rushed editing, but is still a good movie.

Then he started doing weird romance shit, and that was it. He became normalized, not exciting anymore, and semi forgotten.

I went in the theater to see a Mark Wahlberg movie because he was in it, and then they killed him off half way through. WTF, he is a more talented actor than Wahlberg. I think the luke warm reception for Munich hurt his career. And I believe we have lost the potential for some amazing performances.
