I know this movie came out seven years ago but obviously not everyone has seen it so I wanted to add a spoiler alert!

so I love this movie it’s one of my favorite movies and I also love NWA and I was look imgup what happened in real life versus what happened in the movie. and obviously I know that some things are exaggerated and not everything is spot on or true. I think they said like 70% of it is accurate and I know dre and I’ve cube were writers on it. But I cannot find anything about that part where they’re having a party in their hotel room, and having sex with a ton of girls and this guy comes looking for that chick and they come out and I’ll shoot their guns at him

anyone know if that really happened? And is that out anywhere and I’m just totally missed it anyways I just re-watched it and wanted to see if anyone knew! Such a kickass movie

It's been established that there's a lot of bullshit in the movie to make Dre and cube look bigger than they are in real life.

If you look up any of the movie vs reality articles out there, you'll see a lot of the movie is fabricated. So I wouldn't take the scene in question to heart. You can't really use this (or any) movie as a basis of fact.

I would say having sex with a bunch of girls at a hotel is real --- shooting at the guy is not

Dre and Cube were rappin' about the gangsta life --- not living like actual gangstas

It did not happen in real life. Ice Cube's son came up with the idea to put it into the NWA movie as a joke.

Probably not. The movie is based entirely on the testimonies of NWA members themselves and people tend to stretch the truth or even outright lie to make a story sound better than it actually is. In the words of Dr. House "everyone lies"

Dre and cube didn’t really do stuff like that. Eazy was the only real one in the group.

Which is why I have no interest in it or movies like it. If the star is around the movie will be very biased. I will watch the real version after they die.

Yeah I’m sure it’s biased but the movie is awesome regardless I mean I def recommend watching it and just take what you see with a grain of salt! But obvs up to you

Yeah I did read about that. Also, I’m pretty sure not all of them even lived in Compton. Regardless they did all come from rough backgrounds and had a huge influence on rap

There's a (really great) docuseries called The Defiant Ones, I think it came out about the time of the movie and was far more interesting to me, pretty much all of the (real) events of the movie are talked about in it.
