We just need to have a level playing field. If you want more winners you can just give out more prizes. It’s a bs. argument

Adding a featured actress/actor category makes sense for me. Someone who is only featured in a few scenes.

The supporting acting category is often hacked by having performances that are basically 2nd leads (Christoph Waltz in Django Unchained, Catherine Zeta-Jones in Chicago ect) which truly is unfair to compete against a scene-stealing featured performance.
