Well for me it was cheesy to the point of feeling like a parody. And I absolutely adore the first movie, it is one of my favourites.
Maya Rudolph has not helped, she cannot pull serious acting. Giselle was exactly the same as she was in a first movie, which is not good..she should have evolved a little bit atleast in the years she spent in NY.
There was no twist, no sparkle.
