The comment “perfectly casted” gets thrown around a lot when referring to certain characters (and the actors who play them). I’m of the opinion that “perfectly casted” can apply to any actor who shares similar looks to the part they play and gives a decent performance. Am I wrong? Are there any character’s who aren’t “perfectly casted” with the exceptions being: (1) the actor doesn’t share similar looks to the part, and (2) the actor doesn’t give a shitty performance?

Hugh Jackman, a native Australian shouldn’t be able to play a mid west American doomsday prepper Christian repressed father figure so well in Prisoners (2013), but damn was that a great performance.

Btw not sure if this answered your question as I had a hard time telling what exactly you were asking.

If we're going by looks, Hugh Jackman also was pretty miscast as Wolverine. In the comics he's usually portrayed as a short, hairy, kinda ugly guy. Jackson is none of those, but he definitely made that role his own.

I only consider it a perfect casting if I can’t picture anyone else playing that role

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was way too tall to play Truman Capote, but he gave a great performance anyway.

Reacher. Tom Cruise is about 8 inches and 80 lb too small but he is Tom Cruise.

Ritchson obviously looked the part and gives a good performance too. But I think Cruise in the first film really nailed the cool confidence of Reacher.

Best bit of the movie - cops pull up at the hotel and find guy knocked out. Witness says he was knocked out with one punch and cops doubts him. Witness say "Wait until you see this guy" - 5'8" Tom Cruise. Guess they forgot to edit the script after they signed him. But he was good in the first one. The second one was bad.

Michael Keaton as Batman is a great example of this, I think. While many people think he's synonymous with the character now, when he was initially cast this was definitely not the case. Keaton was short, not at all intimidating, and known for comedy. It's safe to say he definitely did not suck, even if the writing of the character isn't as comic-accurate as it could have been.

people stop for he love of god saying CASTED there is no such word. the word youre looking for is CAST

AS for the question an actor is not perfectly cast if they cant do the role or they dont fit the description well enough.
