Theaters begged for more screens and more time to show it, and Netflix declined.

It's wild that they did this when the first one was such a theatrical smash hit.

I guess it still makes financial sense for Netflix to give up that $$$ for subscriber growth, Bc Glass Onion looked like an obvious box office hit to me.

Frustrating for me. Makes me a lot less likely to watch this one if it's not in theaters.

It's true for me. I saw the original at the cinema and enjoyed it. Would definitely liked to have seen the new one but I don't have Netflix, so won't be seeing it.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find a way. You could literally use a fake email, make a Netflix trial account, and then just cancel it after watching it.
