It needed an editor.

Yes, like edit out 90 minutes and you have one of the best comic book movies.

Which parts would you edit out? Genuinely curious bc while I agree that It’s a bit long I honestly don’t have any parts I’d like to cut. Even the extended shots of the city and monologues were really enjoyable for me so I wouldn’t even edit those.

A lot of the conversations could be much shorter, and the car chase could honestly be completely cut (it was one of the worst car chases I've seen in cinema, sadly), and change the ending.

Yeah, the script needed editing more than post-filming. I LIKED the pacing of it. It was just far too long.

It's not a bad take but "not canon" I don't like it cause it's so far off base it's trying too hard to be different. Also really not a fan of Robert Pattinson. Tbh none of the movies really hit like the comics do so I'm kinda jaded by it. I really didn't like Christian Bale but I liked the villains in the Dark Knight series.

Tim Burtons was probably my most favorite.

The last 30-40 minutes (the bombings) were a bit too much for me, up to that point I think it was stellar. I find that people tend to be very biased with the Nolan Batman movies and for this reason they are reluctant to appreciate other adaptations

IMO one of top 3 batman till now. I only think it would work better as a high budjet series...

I really enjoyed watching it, but to an extend (and this isn't necessarily a criticism) it seemed more like three episodes of a really really good TV show, over a singular coherent movie.

First watch, I thought it was decent. On subsequent rewatches it came off as pretty poor. Honestly it was one of the most poorly written detective/noir movie I had scene. It doesn't help that it constantly reminds you of better thrillers like Se7en. I honestly appreciate Fincher's direction more after watching this movie.

I recall thoroughly enjoying this movie when I saw it in theaters. I believe Robert Pattinson did a fantastic job portraying Bruce Wayne and Batman.

I commented in another post about the script of "the batman" and how I didn't care for the film. Apparently some people's feelings were hurt by that...

My favorite is still batman(1989)

All I can remember is the whole movie looked like it was shot in a dark room. I mean even when they are in a hospital or an office building it’s unbelievable how dark the made it look.

My thoughts are the Batman has been so extensively cover that there’s absolutely nothing left to say about that character. Dear God, I hope someone comes up with the new movie idea. comic book stuff is getting so old.
