It's a bit of a meme at this point but everything, everywhere all at once is the best film I've seen it quite a while.

It's a bid sad because basically all movies I were excited for this year were a bit or pretty much disappointing. And then there was Bullet Train which I didn't care or was excited about but I watched it in theaters spontaneously and I loved it. Same with Top Gun Maverick.

Top Gun was the most complete movie I’ve seen. Also loved Glass Onion, the Wonder, Northman and Red Rocket. But can’t claim to have seen all that much.

Elvis for me. I had no idea it was being made and didn't know it was out until I saw the poster while seeing Top Gun Maverick. I ended up seeing the movie 12 times in the theater. Something about it really piqued my interest. I am a community theater person so I got the very 'musical theater' style of the editing. Austin Butler killed it. It was fun, campy, romantic, serious. Interesting. It's probably one of the best bio pics I have ever seen and I love biopics.

I'm still picking Elvis over Maverick but Maverick was definitely a favorite of mine. I was not a fan of the original Top Gun. That was my older cousin's thing. But we went to see it together and I really enjoyed it. Loved the old school 'Star Wars plot' and Tom's chemistry with the kids and with Jennifer Connelly. It just had the 'I only need to see it once' factor for me personally where I got a little too obsessed with Elvis for some reason.
