After watching 10 seconds of the trailer I closed it and knew I had to watch the film (on Prime). It gave more than I could have expected (absolutely gutted) and ended the same way. I haven't found a near-zero budget film that has given me this experience in a long long time and I'm very grateful this came my way.

Did anyone else have the same experience with the movie or recommend anything like it?

Best zero budget film is Primer imo. Most realistic time travel movie I have ever seen. Only $7,000 budget.

I have not seen it but based on the description you may like Blue Ruin. Electrician looks interesting

Not zero budget, but the Horseman is close.

Nice, thanks. Is that the horseman from 2008?

Yep. It's brutal. Another good one is "King of the Ants."
