Half points make it a 10 point scale. OP could double the numbers so instead of 5, 4.5, 4, 3.5... it's 10, 9, 8, 7...

If there are 10 possible scores, it's a 10 point scale. It doesn't matter if they're 1, 2, 3...; 0.5, 1, 1.5...; or 0.1, 0.2, 0.3....

nope that would be a 5 point scale using halves as well

you would have to count the halves as a full point to be a 10 point scale

.5 is half a point not a full one
