Had this thought the other day. Kevin is totally a brilliant manipulative sociopath. He planned to have the burglars chase him to the neighbors house. But why? Well, if he kept them at his house, and they were apprehended there, then there would be evidence of his booby traps and the wet bandits could have made a personal injury claim against the McAlister’s homeowners insurance. Brilliant job on Kevin luring them away.
