It possibly could be but I think the general audience is unfortunately tapped out of caring about this franchise especially after last one

I feel like hiring the right screenwriter and action director could get people excited again, but you might be right (and they'd probably just f*** it up again anyway). I'd just hate to see the franchise fizzle out like that...
