I'd love to see someone film the remaining two Arthur C. Clarke novels in the 2001 series. We already have 2001: A Space Odyssey (a masterpiece) and 2010: The Year We Make Contact (a worthy sequel).

Let's do the rest. In 2061: Odyssey Three, an emergency landing is made on Europa, surprises are discovered, and the monolith reawakens. In 3001: The Final Odyssey, astronaut Frank Poole is reawakened a thousand years after being murdered by HAL.

I feel like hiring the right screenwriter and action director could get people excited again, but you might be right (and they'd probably just f*** it up again anyway). I'd just hate to see the franchise fizzle out like that...

I think they should franchise out and tell more stories besides Neo’s. Would love to see Trinity’s story from the time she starts pursuing Morpheus.

My bloody valentine could use some sequels. It’s a great villain and he has a theme song. Canadian slashers we’re legit.
