They weren’t. I mean it was slightly exaggerated but not by much.

I mean tbh, I finally watched it for the first time after this movie and was pleasantly surprised.

It is a good movie, worth a watch.

Edit Brenden Gleeson plays a character named knuckles, and I just watched Banshees Of Ineshirin. Ironic.

Nope.

Watch the almost perfect 1 first to enhance the payoff in the perfect 2.

There are a few perfect movies and Paddington 1 and 2 are in that list.

Just to balance this, I watched Paddington 2 as a result of this movie, and I really didn't enjoy it at all. I definitely seem to be in the minority, but it was a basic generic kids movie, in my opinion. Sorry everyone. I wanted to love it!

Should I watch 1 first?

Yes, because it's almost just as good.

And it enhances the payoff in 2.

It just doesn't make sense how perfect those movies are.

How are the 2 related? Just both good movies?

Nevermind: figured it out
