Could be good you never know. I’m hoping you’re wrong and it doesn’t disappoint because I love stuff like that

My favourite part is where M3gan dances
The plot twist is that M3gan is actually a 30 year old pretending to be a little girl doll.
Orphan 2.0 has entered the chat
They should have a dance off.
Absolutely
I like the use uncanny valley in this , can wait to see the reaction - I can’t wait
Orphan vs M3gan - Last Dance
This needs to happen
Am I crazy or does M3gan look uncannily like Scarlett Johansson
This concept seems like it would be more at home in a 40 minute Black Mirror episode, but I don’t know if it’s strong enough to be a feature-length film. Maybe I’ll be wrong.
What I thought when I saw her. Figured she was voicing it but nope.
I thought that
I got one of the Olsen twins. Before drugs, eating disorders, marriages to oligarchs. Or maybe now, I don’t know what their plastic surgery regimen looks like.
That was them, right? Nevermind, I suddenly stopped caring.
I always hope that a movie can come up with the clever twists and turns that Black Mirror makes. And it never happens.
I hold out way too much hope for clever writing.
Like watching a M. Night Shyamalan movie, and you and all your friends came up with better plot twists that we all tried to guess before watching.
Also, as per usual, they give away everything in the trailer. On the surface, it looks like disappointment. Killer doll goes on a killing spree for funsies. The end.
I envision a plot where the doll becomes “evil” purely by downloading and absorbing social media & news. That would be an interesting “Black Mirror” sort of social commentary.
That’s not going to happen.
Reaction of what exactly?
Maybe. I hope it doesn’t disappoint tbh
For some reason that scene reminds me of when Scar pushes Mafasa off the cliff in Lion King but it was funny at the same time
Nahh that’s how they look now I think
The viewing audience I haven’t seen many android movies that leverage the uncanny valley up until this point , most either make completely human looking replicas or very off robot models , this one seems to have some how nailed the “some creepy place in between”

You know a movie is going to be bad when the astroturfing begins.
