I think they both got hit and they fell down. Still weird for me they can lift a boulder but not a horse. But yeah maybe to make it realistic i guess

Well horses weigh about 1000 lbs and it's fell on her first so she may have been injured.

In order to bear that weight, their horses also have to be super-dense, making each of them weigh 40,000kg, much heavier than the comparatively light boulder.
