Ever since The Brothers Grimm Wrote their Iconic Fairy tales(which are MUCH darker than the Bedtime stories you get told nowadays); and even as Far back as the Bible; Wolves have gotten a bad rap; due to being seen as an Allegory representation of Evil; from the Parable about about the Wolf disguised as his prey; aka the Sheep. . . to The Brothers Grimm

But Real Life Wolves aren't the Villains they're made out to be; Heck; some of them got domesticated and became the modern dog; aka Man's Best Friend. . .

What I Want to know; are there any Movies where The Wolf Character ISN'T the Main Antagonist; or a Villain that stays a villain throughout the entire movie

Since Mr. Wolf is the Protagonist of "The Bad Guys", and While he DOES Start off as a Villain; He Doesn't stay a villain; and honestly; He never WANTED to be seen as a Monstrous Villain to begin with; He was never given a Chance by society to be anything other than the Villain everyone already saw him as; and even when he was "BAD", He Still Paid for the Lunch of Him & His Best Friend, Mr. Snake; and even gave a Generous tip; which shows that; he ALWAYS had the potential to defy everyone's expectations of him; and be the Good Guy for a change

So Aside from Mr. Wolf & His Redemption Arc;

are there any other Wolf Characters in Movies; where either "The Wolf" isn't the Main Antagonist; IS the Protagonist, or is allied with the Protagonists;

Hmm Zootopia >!has wolves in an antagonistic role, but in the end they're not really bad nor even close to the main villain!<.

Does Game of Thrones count? House Stark are the wolf house and they're more or less the "good guys".

It’s worth pointing out that the Brothers Grimm were more researchers than creative writers. The folk tales they wrote down were popular tales of the day, collected and recorded by the brothers.

I think the majority of werewolf stories don't really paint the wolf as pure villians but more tragic monster figures that we somewhat sympathise with.

The Wolfman

The Howling

American Werewolf in London

Ginger Snaps

Etc...

Oh there's also White Fang (1991).

I think in "Red Riding Hood" movie with Amanda Seyfried there's a bad wolf (the main baddie, I think her father) and her boyfriend turns into a werewolf who later learns to control his wolf powers.

Wolf - Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Dances With Wolves - Kevin Costner

In the Company of Wolves - had some really interesting takes on wolf/stories with wolves as a compilation.

Wolves - Jason Momoa and Lucas Till (some wolves bad, some good)

Blood and Chocolate - (more some bad some good)

From Dusk Til Dawn. Seth Gecko.

The Hunt for Red October. Captain Bart Mancuso and the crew of the Dallas live to hunt down enemy subs and bring them to bay.

Nobody. Hutch Mansell is a wolf. He's also the protagonist.

Heat.

Blade Runner 2049.

First Blood is about a wolf cornered by a pack of angry dogs.

I could probably name one or two rom-coms that fit, but I don't really watch rom-coms, and nothing comes to mind.
