Most movies are centered around kids these days? That is factually untrue. Only one of this years Best Picture nominees has kids in the main cast.

Maybe the algorithm is sending you a bunch of family films wherever you stream movies, but the majority of films are still starring adults.

I mean you’re describing kid movies from every decade. 80s Goonies 70s bad news bears Older apple dumpling gang.

Don’t watch movies about kids and you will find movies not about kids.

Off the top of my head movies I watched recently not about kids include money hall, I’m thinking of ending things, white noise (has kids not the focus) shotgun wedding I am about to watch etc.

The 80’s was like the kid adventure/comedy movie golden age. ET, Stand By Me, Lost Boys, Fright Night, Monster Squad, Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting, Breakfast Club, Ferris Beulers Day Off, License To Drive, Weird Science, the list doesn’t stop. They weren’t “kid centric” like the 90’s Johnathan Taylor Thomas or Olsen Twins movies. They were blockbusters for the most part, designed to entertain all ages.

Older movies featured mostly adults and a few kids, modern movies the opposite is true
