I can't imagine many. There are so many great films that maybe had an odd casting choice or maybe the director wasn't working well enough with actors, but rarely does it drag the movie as a whole down that far. Cloverfield(2008) may be an exception for me. T.J. Miller talks over every second of the film, filling every empty space with his voice. He just never shuts up. And it's always just what "OMG" "YEAH YEAH YEAH" he never adds commentary nor does it help spin the situation a different way. Honestly it feels more like someone who won't shut up in the movie theatre. It seems like a genuinely interesting monster movie with an original design for the monster. Not to mention that statue of liberty head flying into the streets was so iconic when it first came out. It's a solid 7/10 monster flick but with sound on it turns to like a 2/10. Do any of y'all have similar experiences?
Edit! Itt: Sophia Coppola and Cameron Diaz ruin movies
