I’ve heard of this as well, but no idea if it’s true.
Only one way to find out.
Sweet I live a few miles away
Lol omg Bedford is known for swinger theory gossip. Like "people who swing in bedford will put pineapples upside down in their shopping cart" lol
That's not just a Bedford thing, it's pretty widespread. I'm also told by people who tried it that it never works.
There are subreddits for this. I would imagine easier than meeting random people.
If you really want to meet swingers, you can meet them online easily enough, and they will happily tell you where they have their events.
We had friends who were exploring it some years ago as a way to “enhance” their marriage. They are now divorced, and both remarried. YMMV.
Same, we have friends that were in an enlightened "open marriage" and are now bitterly divorced.

That's what I'm saying, it's all rumors. I hear it all about Bedford because I live close to there, that's all.

I can't imagine anyone pursuing that lifestyle and honestly believing it's going to work. The success rate must be sub 10%
There was that story on TIFU about the garden gnome in the yard thing
I don't actually want to meet them, I just want to hear the genesis of this story
Used to live in Douglas County, Colorado. There it was a white rock on your porch.
My theory is that the pineapple thing was started by stoners who wanted to maintain plausible deniability.
Families are the smallest unit of a healthy community, and John Lennon was killed for intending to come out about the deep state orchestrating the hippie revolution and weakening of traditional families. He was a focal point of that, felt bad, got whacked.
I heard that there’s a very active group that has a monthly party in the New Boston area (or at least they used to), and if I recall correctly, someone was trying to establish something similar in the Merrimack area).
From the little I saw, it seems that they have a very distinctive subculture, complete with their own social norms. It was interesting to get a glimpse of their world, but it wasn’t something we were interested in.
If they have an upside down pineapple next to their keys, you’re probably in luck😉
No offense but....... if you take a good look at the majority of new hampshire folks, this proposition seems pretty freaking disgusting to me. Potato faced new england girls and overweight dumpy husband's. Yuck.
Well, aren’t we just a little ray of sunshine.
My wife and I have been asked a few times at various Bedford and Merrimack restaurants point blank. Are you swingers …. Because when you sit at a bar you use to talk to people and we do.
Completely with you for the first 9 words.
Holy shit I simply do that with pineapples naturally and I was wondering what all the winking and come-hither looks were for!
That’s the story with Scarlet Oak in Hingham, MA.

Did you ask Bob & Geri?
Definitely not true. I know of many happily married people in the lifestyle. It really depends on how solid your relationship was to begin with, and how much communication and trust you have with your partner. Some people see it as a bandaid to fix what is already broken—which just delays the inevitable. However, if you have a strong relationship to begin with, and can love multiple people, or just want to screw around with multiple people, it can be an amazing and wonderful thing.
What I can say is that I’ve been to several places in NH that are supposedly hangouts for people in the lifestyle. For example, Cooper Door, Backyard Brewery, and Chen’s in Derry. There are certainly lifestyle events that happen at these places from time to time, but I don’t think there any secret pineapple or key signal for any random night. I can tell you that the lifestyle is much more prevalent than you likely know. I can almost certainly guarantee that you know people in the lifestyle that don’t advertise it. I also know for certain that there are lifestyle house parties in Bedford and areas around the seacoast, but it’s more of a “you have to know someone” to be invited kind of thing. There are also numerous groups around NH, Boston, and Providence that advertise and have events for people to attend without having to know someone already.
Sir this is a Wendy’s
I had the esteemed pleasure of working with one of the the hosts. Maybe he’s a nice guy, but I didn’t respect him.
wholesome 😂
I'll be watching for the couple who orders pineapple upside-down cake with a slice of Key lime pie. Bow chicka wow wow
Sorry Charlie it's called The Green Door and it's in Las Vegas lol
Could not agree more

I think it’s just wishful thinking about the Bedford MILFs.
