I may have a job lined up in Massachusetts that would require me to travel through Rochester dover and Hampton tolls. Does NH E-ZPass give a volume discount for toll fare like the maine system does or is it just the straight 30% off for having a transponder?

If the EZ-pass transponder is registered to a Maine-based account, no discount. NH transponders get a 30% discount (and you CAN get a NH transponder as an out of state person for the discount, you just have to buy it).

Former NH ezpass employee here, there is unfortunately no special commuter discount. Just the 30% discount with a NH transponder. Remember to affix the transponder to your windshield right behind the rear view mirror.

I believe it’s just the standard 30%. But I am merely just a redditor.

If you talk to them and tell them the frequency that you will be passing the tolls, they usually do, but they would keep track of that frequency and as long g as you meet the criteria you should get a discount.

Only 30% off a NH Turnpike issued transponder. Maine and Massachusetts (any other tolling authority) transponders are the normal fare.
