Amanita muscaria to be exact, or "fly agaric". it can be yellow or red as well. It's a mushroom with a lot of history. Never edible unless you really know what you're doing 😉

I’m not even sure knowledge of what it does would make ok to eat. From everything I’ve heard or read about mushrooms the effect of Amanita is at best a dreamy sluggish type of state. Enhanced actual dreaming too. But a lot say it’s dysphoric and uncomfortable

Youre right that amanita can be yellow, this looks more like amanita flavoconia aka yellow patches due to the yellow stipe and, well, patches lol. Amanita muscaria var. Guessowii (the yellow amanita youre referring to) has a white stipe and white patches and is usually a much paler shade of yellow.

I disagree. No concentric rings around the base makes me think this is just a Yellow Patch. These are often confused with the Amanita family.
