What in the world is going on

Someone called in a bomb threat against a specific flight to Florida that hadn't taken off yet.
So my guess would be either someone trying to fuck up someone else's vacation plans or someone was going to miss their flight and had the galaxy brained idea of doing this to delay the departure.
Either way its something very very stupid. Im sure of it.

I suspect this is related to the thinking that some on the ultra-right have about sabotaging power grids and such. As in, they think creating an emergency will lead to the kind of leadership they desire, along with the repression of all that they don't desire.

If you don’t believe OP, just ask Fox News:
> As alleged in the affidavit, Russell conspired to carry out attacks against critical infrastructure, specifically electrical substations, in furtherance of Russell’s "racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist beliefs" from at least June 2022 to the present.
> Russell is an alleged neo-Nazi figure who authorities say posted locations of substations.
> This plot is not related to but comes on the heels of several power grid attacks in North Carolina,Washington, and Oregon late last year.
Or the US Dept of Justice:
> These three defendants admitted to engaging in a disturbing plot, in furtherance of white supremacist ideology, to attack energy facilities in order to damage the economy and stoke division in our country,”
Or the extremism program at GWU:

It was harder for me to find sources from right wing news sources, but I did find some. It would seem to me that it is widely reported on and has been for years. It would seem that if you haven’t heard of this, you may be in a bubble yourself. But what do I know, I don’t touch grass.

I can't believe you thought leaving me a page long comment and spending that much time digging through propaganda sites was how you thought you were going to prove you're not living in a bubble consuming too much propaganda.
You're hopeless.
