I'm not expecting insane pow days but where is the best snow? I assume that the resorts farther north have better snow but I don't know. Those resorts are also a bit far.

Cannon will either be the best or worst day of skiing you’ve ever had.

Waterville is always a solid choice.

I loved Wildcat.

I never had a good day at Loon.

Skied LOON this past Sunday and it was very good. Only downside was the Kang8 had some stoppages. Overall well run and snow was great

Had a great day at Loon last week. Wildcat seems to always have terrible weather despite whatever’s happening around it.

I haven’t skied Cannon yet this season, but I imagine there’s warning rebar drilled into icy patches like seasons past.

Tenney is right in Plymouth but I've never skied it so no comment on how good it is. Canon and Wildcat are a bit unforgiving for beginners/intermediates but good rides. Ragged is a nice mid-tier mountain but it is south so coverage might be a problem. The problem with Plymouth and skiing is it isn't close to any good mountain area.

Definitely Waterville, Bretton Woods isn't that far from Plymouth if you want to venture out more. Loon is a little pricey and Cannon has a lot of expert trails.

Cannon is known for its advance terrain but it actually offers quite a lot of intermediate terrain and is more affordable than Loon and Waterville and less crowded. It’s more of no-frills skiers mountain and not a corporate resort. They’ve also invested a lot of money in snowmaking and grooming the last 10-15 years and recent snowfall should have only made it better. It also has competes with Wildcat for the best scenery in the state.

Bretton woods always has exceptional grooming. Loon is a solid choice. Wildcat is fantastic. Cannon is hit or miss but with the recent snowfall I'd say it's likely to be good.
