Hi all!

I was admitted to UNH Law School for the next fall season. I am very excited; however, moving is not the most practical. I will be moving from from very far away, and as such I want to start looking for places for rent now while there is still plenty of time. If you know any law students/grads who will be moving away from the Concord area around the summertime (June/July 2023), I would be very grateful if you could put them in contact with me. Additionally if you know of any places for rent within Concord or from a commutable distance (Franklin, Hooksett, Manchester, Durham, etc.), I would be equally grateful if you could point me in that direction. Thank you for your time :)

I'd definitely suggest you try finding a place to live in Concord. The area around UNH Law School/White Park is pretty walkable, your quality of life will be pretty good if you can walk over to school or to downtown Concord. You could certainly drive from Hooksett or Manchester, but that'll get old especially in the winter. Hope you find a good place!

I know there are often Facebook groups where people post seeking/offering rooms and apartments. For example, there is one for the Seacoast: SEACOAST HOUSING AND RENTAL SIE (yes, all caps). Lots of roomate requests are on there too. Good luck and congrats on the acceptance!

You're very kind :) Thank you for the advice! I'd imagine Facebook is always going to have one or two options wherever I move, I just wanted to ask advice first from people who would be less biased.

Yeah I totally 1000% agree. I commute only one day a week for work currently and it is about a one hour drive each way. I dread that day, so commuting every day of the week might kill me.

While maybe not the best apartments, Keystone property management has quite a few properties in the area and I found the folks in their office to be pleasant to work with.

Agreed. I’ve lived in better places but I’ve also lived in MUCH worse. They were always fine to deal with in my Keystone tenure.

Firstly thank you for the advice! One or two others have brought up Keystone. Hopefully that means I can find something I am looking for there.

u/LawBot_T1000 this is your best bet as you are coming from far away. Have the professionals do the leg work for you.

Thank you! I will definitely check them out. Some others recommended Keystone Management which I imagine is a similar service.

My wife and I lived at Cranmore Ridge while we were in Concord, it may not be the cheapest option but we both loved it. The units are spacious and have nice amenities like granite countertops and walk-in closets, and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a place in Concord

Thank you to both you and your wife for the advice. I will reach out to them regarding pricing details. I know I will be paying much more for housing regardless of where I go than what I do right now.

There are plenty of homeless camps to stay at in concord if you can’t find anything.
