I was told that my dog needed to go under sedation for teeth cleaning. I started giving her pizzle stick chews and the vet said her teeth were fine on her last visit!

I will forward this to my mobile veterinarian, and see if she would be interested in taking a 90 minute drive.

Hi, not sure if this might be to far away for you but Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence ma was fantastic when our dog broke her tooth and had to have it removed and have a professional cleaning done with the surgery. The staff was excellent and even help us with providing back up letter for our insurance to cover the procedure.

My vet is doing my dog in April, 1500 bucks, but it's about 35 minutes from Portsmouth

Jeez, that’s a lot. My recent vet charged $500 including blood work. Is that cost standard here?

Not the standard! Depends on the age and health of your pet and the condition of their teeth. You can get it done for $500-$700 at Winichahanat Vet in Dover. It's a small office and they're very good.

I dunno, first time. But I had to wait three months so maybe the demand is high

I wish I could help. My vet doesn't do cleaning for some reason and my dog needs it bad. I wish there was a way to safely knock his ass out at home so I could do it. LoL
