I love watching House sessions. With just about every bill you're guaranteed to hear some outrageous hyperbole or just complete dumbassery.

Senate sessions are disappointingly tame by comparison.

I was just doing some light reading (about the parental rights bill) earlier today and wow, I’m shocked to find how many proposals (or whatever the hale it’s called) are presented each year…to the tune of a thousand, give or take. WTFH is going on in this state that we have people presenting a thousand ideas each year?!?!?

This is why I never expect shit to get done in this state.

It's all my fault. The first time I drove from NH to Michigan, I came home to a flooded basement. The second time, the Old Man of the Mountains collapsed. For the safety of the world, I'm never driving to Michigan again.

Wouldn’t say 9/11, but it is sad, especially since it’s a cultural symbol to the indigenous people of the area.

And it also wasn’t the result of our government’s inability to take the numerous chatter and hijacking threat(s) seriously.

Let it go. Sad people derive such a large part of their identity from a pile of rocks solely.

Are you saying that cultural landmarks of indigenous peoples aren’t important?

Nope. The people trying to pass these things have not mentioned a desire to commemorate it or recognize it as part of Abenaki lore. Nor do they take steps to recognize the numerous other Native places that have been lost to development or time. This comment was related to people like this politician who have a chest thumping loyalty to this symbol of NH. Unless I’m mistaken and he has a motivation to help provide visibility to the plight of Natives

So wait…there’s discussion surrounding whether or not to celebrate the falling/demise of the Old Man of The Mountain? Am I reading this right?

Wow.

And, in an effort to drive the asinine discussion home, this used car salesman (lies) says most residents compare the loss to that of the TT’s falling on 9/11.

Just wow.

You read it first - he’s destined to do great things down in Washington!
