Reddit is toxic. Remember most of its garbage, lies, and internet trolls.

I would strongly suggest you avoid meeting people through reddit at your age.

I remember being 13 and I know you'll do what you want but seriously its best just to meet people through school and the like.

If someone online is interested in meeting a 13 year old girl, they are not someone who should be around a 13 year old girl.

Please listen to what others are saying, do not going seeking for friends on reddit, or any social media. You make real friends at school, church, sports, etc.

Yes, really. Important to realize Reddit is also a fairly anonymous platform, people tend to be 1,000,000x worse as humans when they can hide behind a keyboard.

Reddit can be fun and there are lots of interesting subs, but it can also be dangerous.

You can definitely find a lot of helpful information on Reddit. But it’s not the place to meet people imo. A lot of weirdos. Be safe and best of luck to you!

Please stay off the general subs of reddit for your sanity and safety.

If I were you, I would delete this account and then start a new one where you never mention your age.

There are plenty of wholesome subs out there such as the already mentioned r/rabbits, but overall reddit is sketchy and toxic as heck.

Just stay away from the mega discords like /r/politics, /r/worldnews and other crap like that. Reddit is a great place to discuss videogames, Marvel, stranger things, etc.
