Haven’t been to Cathedral this spring but any snow that gets direct sunlight is melting fast in Conway. It’s been 40+ consistently so it’ll go fast everywhere.

It is super muddy everywhere here. And we just had an avalanche bury someone last week on Mt Washington, so be wary of where you go hiking. Of you don't mind the mud and are a conscientious hiker, you should be fine.

We live in Hanover NH and if I was going to North Conway I’d be bringing the micro spikes and preparing for very mixed conditions.

I live in Madison. You're gonna need your spikes, I'm almost positive if you're going to do anything with any elevation. Aldo prepare for lots of mud. Everything is melting but it's still cold at night. Have fun!

N Conway a lot warmer and slushier than Franconia notch. Notch was super icy, windy, and cold.

Should still bring spikes tho

I summited Chocorua last week via Piper.

It's still feet of snow and rime ice anywhere near or above treeline. Poles and spikes are a must.
