Hi everyone, coming to NH this summer for work and travel program.

Will fly from Poland or Turkey, haven’t bought my flight tickets yet.

The question is, how can I get to Hampton Beach from airport of Boston, or maybe from JFK in New York?

I mean, I can’t find a single bus straight to Hampton Beach on the internet but maybe there is an option?

There is C&J bus service. They have a route that stops in Seabrook. That is one town over from Hampton. This is absolutely your best bet. From there you could do an Uber or Lyft to the place you're staying.

Came here to suggest C&J haha, take my poor man's award! 🏅

C & J is the best bet. They run hourly and pick up at each terminal at Boston's Logan airport. Perhaps the employer could pick you up in Seabrook. If not, an Uber would be best.

In the event you land in NY, a bus to Boston and then C&J to Seabrook, NH.

Enjoy your summer and enjoy Hampton Beach!

May want to check timing of your flight if it arrives late. Their last bus leaves Logan at 11pm I think and have had some issues with late flights and waiting for luggage in baggage claim . When you arrive go outside of baggage claim and look for the signage think it says shuttle bus or scheduled busses

I also have used Ubers to get to the coast but it’ll be $$100+ vs 30sh

This is the only correct suggestion. C&J is the easiest transportation service from Logan.

Can confirm CnJ From Logan to Seabrook, then Uber to the Beach (5 minute ride).

Welcome to the US where public transport outside major cities is either terrible or non-existent, unfortunately.

There are some car services in the area that sometimes share their rates on local Facebook groups. I think it’s usually about $150 from Logan to the seacoast area but may be worth it after a long flight with a lot of luggage. CJ Trailways bus as the others mentioned is probably your best option and they are really great.

Who cares if there is public transport, when cj is there… and every region has their own version….and you can Uber, as a backup

Sorry, there is no convenient public transportation outside of metropolitan areas in the U.S. You can take a C&J bus to Portsmouth (from NYC or Boston) and from Portsmouth, it’s a 30-minute drive to Hampton Beach. I recommend getting an Uber or asking someone in advance because a cab will probably cost you another $100. Taxi rates are ridiculous on the seacoast precisely due to the lack of public transportation.

There is also the amtrack that leaves north Station, they could take it to Exeter and take a 20 min Uber to the beach, or stay on the train and go up to wells in Maine and get a better beach!

here is info on the downeaster

Thank you, seems like a good option as well

You’re welcome. As an option, make some friends online and arrange for someone to pick you up from the bus station. Also, just to warn you, housing is another issue on the seacoast, especially since covid. I hope you have made arrangements or are working on that now. It will be very hard and very expensive to find that on the spot. Anyway, best of luck and I hope you enjoy your summer!

They keep houses for summer students. They are usually the worst you’ve ever seen, not updated from the 50s and they charge $200/person per week.

Many employers are helping summer workers with things like this too, such as housing. C&J is indeed your best bet. Uber/Lyft from Portsmouth or Seabrook. Have a safe trip and a great summer!

Commuter rail from north station to Newburyport. $10. Uber in from there probably $20.

I do a little driving for Uber, and if I'm in that area, regularly pick up people at the C&J bus stop in Seabrook.
Note, there's also a C&J bus from NYC that comes to the seacoast (leaves NYC in Port Authority), including I believe a stop in Seabrook. Obviously there's the extra hassle getting from JFK to Port Authority, but wanted to point that out too.

Car service. It will run about $250

I’d almost rather do it this way, c&j is good, but navigating the terminals and then getting an Uber…a lot of folks have small business’s posted on the local Facebook groups for rides to/from Logan to the seabrook/Hampton area. Less chances to get stranded

From ChatGPT…

To take public transportation from Boston Logan Airport to Hampton Beach, you can follow these steps:

Take the free Massport Shuttle Bus from the airport to the MBTA Blue Line Subway Station. Follow the signs for the "MBTA Subway" or "Airport Subway Station." Take the MBTA Blue Line Subway from the airport station to the Bowdoin station. Transfer to the MBTA Orange Line Subway at the Bowdoin station, and take the Orange Line to North Station. At North Station, transfer to the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line and take the train to Newburyport. At Newburyport, transfer to the C&J Bus Lines bus service to Hampton Beach. You can check the schedules and fares for the MBTA and C&J Bus Lines online to plan your trip in advance. It's also a good idea to have cash or a credit/debit card to purchase tickets for the subway and bus rides.

Hextall2727 t1_jdw7zel wrote

This is terrible, but not the least because there is no C&J bus line service to Hampton Beach. ChatGPT is dumb.
