I love the weather we are having today in Southern NH. It's such a beautiful evening!
The sunlight is filtering through the trees, the sound of snow melting all around us, birds chirping, and the weather being warm enough not to need a chunky jacket!
Seriously, I could not ask for a better day! Cannot wait for summer to come :)
I'm surprising myself this year because I'm actually loving this! The previous years I've lived here, this part just made me want to jump ahead to summer. This year, I hope we have this kind of weather for a month or so!
It feels really special to notice the earth waking up again and to tell included.
Make the most of it We will get two days of Spring then turn on the AC until September.
It seems like this year, we might get an actual spring (knock on wood). Never happens, but who knows.
I think last year it went from being in the 30's to being in the 60's with no in between. Seems like this year, we'll actually get the spring 50's weather
I am joking but not complaining. What we lose in the Spring we make up for it with a spectacular Autumn and most years a very acceptable summer. Just need to get through mud and bug seasons.
Snowshoeing in short sleeves is pretty fun!

The light really was spectacular today!
Goldfinches started changing yellow (the males) and singing, I love those little guys. They're so helpless and delicate but a few managed to stick it out here all winter. Now more are migrating back.
Today was gorgeous! Looking forward to the warmer weather!

I heard birds chirping during the last snowstorm. I felt bad for the birds but welcomed hearing harbingers of spring.
I love all of the weather, but I don't love the mud that comes with it.

I love this time of year too! The melt music, the way the sunset colors the snow on the ground, the feeling of being warm in the sun while enjoying the snow. I’m excited for spring and summer but I’m definitely not wishing this time away.
