We’ve got about a foot already and I just walked to the store for heavy cream to make an alfredo sauce. No cream. The 1.5 mile walk felt like 6 miles. Epic workout

1½ miles, for heavy cream, in heavy snow, with slippery sidewalks and puddles hiding under snow, for alfredo sauce? Thats one of the most New Hampshire things I've ever heard. I love it.
If you need a suitable substitute in the future, the mixture I've used for a base for alfredo sauce is one part whole milk, to one part half-and-half. It's not quite as savory but it's still pretty darn tasty.

We have about zero accumulation here in Concord. It keeps falling but nothing is piling up. There's maybe 2 inches on my car

Real alfredo doesn't include any cream!

On that day, walk is the perfect thing to do.
I was living in Seattle in 1998-99. We had something like 145 days of cloudy weather in a row. Mt. Baker Ski area had over 1,100 inches of snowfall that winter. I was outside walking every single day. Or snowshoeing, x-c skiing or something.
And I did not notice the gloomy grey weather. It was only when the sun came out and I heard other people talk about dark it had been that I realized what just happened.

I'm about to go for a walk too. Doing laps with the snowblower, that is

Guess it's just a matter of perspective. I'm sitting on the other side of the country in the sunshine and to be honest I'd rather be snowshoeing around in your picture.

Nice day for photos. Yucky day for walking. Least around me it's very slushy snow.

I've been walking my dog where you took this picture on and off for weeks. Dog is old, that spot is flat and without traffic or snowbanks. If you went up past the high school you could have heard me cursing snow, snow plows, snow blower, and generator too...
