Depends on what you want to do, especially this time of year. Applecrest farm in North Hampton is the oldest apple orchard in the US, you can go to the mountains, plenty of breweries around the state, and we have a seacoast.

Go to Funspot. Somebody posted recently in this sub about it. World's largest classic arcade. Swing by lake Winnipesaukee while you're there.

Aside from driving through Franconia Notch and/or the Kancamagus highway, I'd recommend going by Lake Winnipesaukee, in the towns of Meredith and Laconia. Even though it's in the off-season right now, you can still visit the largest arcade in the world, Funspot. Also, Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH is still open for their Halloween event, including most of their rides.

Sunapee area is fun and close-ish to Concord. Mount Sunapee may have chair lifts running on the weekend?!?

Various farms nearby have pumpkin picking, apple cider donuts, all the fun fall things!

I recommend a Portsmouth to Hampton drive along the coast. Many spot to stop at. I would also recommend going North to Crawford Notch then over to North Conway then returning to 93 going across the Kancamagus highway.

Depends on your idea of fun. I love the restaurants and old world vibe in Portsmouth, great walking city. Concord isn’t far from the lakes, as many mentioned Meredith/Laconia. Tax free Outlet shopping in Tilton (closest) or Conway (better) and Merrimack (eh). Hiking you have tons of options, white mountains, patuckaway isn’t too far. For a traditional east coast small city Manchester is a quick ride south and has a strong selection of bars and restaurants, live music.

Hope you enjoy!

Rollins state park. Book ah visit ahead, you drive up most of the way then hike the last bit for a good view. Marjory swope is closer and a quick hike with a view. Carter hill Orchard is a must. Then Beach hill farms for Ice Cream. Hope you enjoy your visit.
