Hello everyone, apologies if this is against the rules, but I am very desperate.

I just moved to Nashua, NH from Massachusetts. I've heard tint laws are pretty strict, but some family members got passed with 35 tint all around (same as mine), I just couldn't go to the same place because my car was too low for his lift.

Just wondering if anyone knows any lenient inspection places around here, or should I just bite the bullet and take off my tint? really hoping it does not come to that

thanks a lot!

I'm taking "35 tint all around" to include 35 to the left and right of the driver. Legally the limit there is 70.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 35% tint means 65% transmission, which means it fails to meet 70%

35 tint means 35% of the light passes through. In NH, the glass left and right of the driver has to allow 70% or more light to get through.

Search this sub there have been posts in the past. There was one 10 months ago about NH relaxing the laws on this. I would link it but I’m 43 and don’t know how.

The tint law changed recently. Unfortunately when I moved from MA to NH I had to remove it and did the curtain steamer method and came off really well.

You should be fine if the tint isn't below the limit.
