Hello! I’ll be visiting your state for a week long business trip soon and I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on hotels in the area. I searched the sub but the last hotel post didn’t seem to get any traction. Budget is flexible but preferably under $250/night. Right now I’m looking at The Centennial Hotel because it looks adorable but I’d love a local’s perspective.

Do you have a car? If not, your best bet is hotel concord, right in downtown. If so, hotel concord, Tru, and centennial are probably your best bets within the city limits.

I hear good things about contennial. The Hotel Concord may be a little higher in cost but being on mainstreet may be nice if you do not have a way to get around. Good coffee and food on mainstreet. If you enjoy coffee, I would recommend Revelstoke, their coffee is great. There is also "Tru" I think owned by Hilton that is fairly new and not far from the center of Concord.

Hope you have a nice stay!

Another vote for Hotel Concord. The rooms are pretty nice and it should be near your price range by mid-November. It's a great location and there is a parking garage near the hotel.

Stayed at Comfort Inn on Hall st once when my power was out and it was better than I expected. Nice pool.

I'd stay downtown if you can, even if it's at the holiday inn...which apparently was recently renovated anyhow (if Hotel Concord is out of budget). Walking distance to breweries, coffeeshops, and downtown restaurants is always nice. It's really the only way you'd want to visit town if you're spending a week. If you have a car, maybe you go for a local hike or something while you're in town.

This way you can wake up, walk downtown, grab a coffee at a different coffee shop every day, try some restaurants.... no messing with cabs or uber afterward.

I agree 100% about being near downtown. The Hotel Concord is very nice and walkable, but so is the Centennial. It’s only about a 1/4 mi from downtown. Different vibes but both are excellent choices.
