does anyone know the fee associated with filing one of these. i’ve had a hell of a time on hold with the court and can’t seem to get through. just wondering if anyone else here has experience with this or knows ?

A place like new beginnings in Laconia can streamline the process if its that type of situation - overall, going thru some org or someone that has connections to the court directly is the best bet

np. i am close with someone working in this area so perspective is informed. There is something like new beginnings for every county in the state. 24hr hotline, regardless of what it is/where you call they should be able to point you in the right direction, there is a process where they have to open up a case for every call and track its progress. Pro tip - regardless of whats going on, the more extreme you make it sound on the call (like you need the order ASAP) the quicker/more thorough help you will get

You're welcome. If it's a DV situation, there are agencies which can walk you through paperwork. Otherwise, be sure to see if you qualify for NH Legal Aid in addition to the filing fee assistance provided at the courthouse itself.
